Jonathan Lanham-Cook is a Mental Health Practitioner specialising in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of adult ADHD.

With over 30 years of experience in mental health, Jonathan Lanham-Cook brings a rare depth of knowledge, empathy, expertise and personal lived experience to his practice.

Jonathan began his career working in primary care mental health services within the NHS, where he developed a reputation for clinical excellence and innovation. For the last 13 years, he has been working as a Consultant Nurse and Non-Medical Prescriber, developing his expertise in ADHD and in 2020 was responsible for the setting up of and Clinical Leadership of a pioneering, primary care-based, Adult ADHD service in the Northwest of England.

Following retirement from the NHS, Jonathan has established his own private practice, providing a comprehensive range of services for adults with ADHD—from screening and diagnosis to prescribing and psychosocial follow-up. His practice is grounded in neuro-affirmative values and shaped by a strong belief that ADHD assessment and support should always be of the highest quality.

Jonathan is not only known for his clinical rigour but also his warmth and integrity. He understands that no two people experience ADHD the same way, which is why his approach is always personalised and compassionate.

Beyond his practice Jonathan is involved with a number of organisations, nationally looking at improving ADHD provision into the future with a firm belief that ADHD support should be accessible, holistic and embedded within Primary care.
